Disposable protective chux style underpads are an exceptional value as we sell in bulk case packs. About 18% of our sales are to pet owners! And these pads seem to be a much better bargain than the "doggie pads" or "doggie chux" found in specialty pet supply outlets.
Tim's comments: Chux style underpads can really save time in bedding washings. And many enjoy peace of mind when using as chair or upholstery protectors. If you are going with the washable style chux, you will need a minimum of 3 pads. One to use, one in the wash and one as a back up to the one in use. Please note that sizes shown are manufacturers' listed dimensions, and can vary slightly.Wondering where the name "chux" originated? The best we can tell it is the nickname given to the first generation of disposable medical bed pads. Instead of washing, you could "chuck them out", which was slang for tossing them out instead of washing. A good description or definition of "chux": A disposable, protective underpad that features light to medium absorbency.
